Serious Golf. Seriously Good Fun.

We take our golf seriously. The course, not necessarily ourselves. Come for the 18 holes, stay for the characters. There's always something happening out on the fairways at Wentworth.

A Community Treasure on the Murray

You'll find us at the very edge of outback New South Wales, where the mighty Murray and Darling rivers come together. Wentworth is a town with a story to tell — rich riverboat history, big skies, red dirt, and a pace of life that lets you breathe. Right next door stands the historic Old Wentworth Gaol, and a short walk away the twin rivers roll past gum-lined banks. It's a setting you won't find anywhere else, and our course makes the most of every inch of it.

We're not a private club with a waiting list and a dress code. We're a community-run complex kept alive by a handful of locals who turn up, week after week, because they love this place. The $20 all-day green fee isn't a gimmick — it's just what we charge. No booking, no membership required. Rock up, grab a scorecard from the honesty box, and off you go. That same spirit runs through the tennis courts and the bowls green too. Visitors and travelling golfers are always welcome, and we mean it.

The 2022 floods hit us harder than most. Water sat across the course for weeks, and when it finally receded, the damage was hard to look at. But this community doesn't give up easily. Volunteers spent months repairing fairways, rebuilding greens, and bringing the place back from the brink. The course is open and playable today because of them. When you come out and play a round, you're not just getting a cheap game of golf — you're backing a club that genuinely earns every bit of support it gets.
